ISKA is a support group of women who have made relationships with Koreans. Started in 2000 in Seoul, Korea, it was founded by foreign women who were and are married to Koreans. Love, courtship, and eventually marriages were mostly part of post-Seoul Olympics relationships, an event brought forth by South Korea’s drive for globalization.
Members include those who are living in Korea and overseas. Children of founding members have grown up to become a truly global, multilingual, and multicultural citizens living in all parts of the world.
